After halting the regular scratches last month, I thought I'd return for a new scratch just to have something for August. I've decided to go for a £3 Cash Lines scratchcard. This card has a jackpot of £300,000 and is played just like similar ones I've enjoyed in the past where the player has to scratch off the eighteen panels on the right and then find the symbols in the main game. Should they line up four symbols in a row, they win the prize for that line. Here's what the card looked like after play. The loss moves me down into -£76 for the year. I'll return with at least another card next month.

The card I am going to play this month is a £3 Emerald Doubler. It has a top prize of £300,000. In this game, the player has to match any of the winning numbers to any of their numbers to win a prize. If the numbers matched are both green, the player wins double the amount shown. If one or more diamonds show up in the 'Your Numbers' section, the player wins either £3 for one diamond, £5 for two diamonds, £6 for three diamonds or £10 for four diamonds. As you can see above, I have scratched off the four numbers and have revealed a 29, 13, 02 and an 08. The 29 and 08 are green. Here goes: 23 04 24 17 07 14 01 27 06 03 12 30 The loss brings me to -£79 for 2020.

Today's card was another £1 Multiplier. It was a loser. I am now at -£79 for 2020.
